now has the annoying ability to see ghosts. Even worse, they
all want something from him, particularly Frank, who pesters
him into breaking up the impending marriage of his widow.
"A sweet and hilarious romantic comedy featuring a breakout
performance by British comic genius Ricky Gervais, inspires
viewers to pause, reflect and praise one of the most rare
and wondrous occurrences in contemporary cinema: the Good
Movie."--WASHINGTON POST
"A misanthropic dentist, a roguish ghost and a zany Egyptologist:
as these unlikely companions scamper around Manhattan in the
buoyant comedy Ghost Town, they resurrect the spirits
of classic movie curmudgeons like W. C. Fields and such romantic
comedians as Cary Grant and Carole Lombard in Woody Allen
territory."-NEW YORK TIMES

Vicky Cristina Barcelona (2008)
Friday, 9/26 through Thursday, 10/2
Director: Woody Allen
Starring: Rebecca Hall, Scarlett Johansson, Javier
Bardem, Penelope Cruz
Rating: PG-13 * 1 hour 36 minutes * Comedy/Romance
Two young American women, Vicky and Cristina come to Barcelona
for a summer holiday. Vicky is sensible and engaged to be
married; Cristina is emotionally and sexually adventurous.
In Barcelona, they’re drawn into a series of unconventional
romantic entanglements with Juan Antonio, a charismatic painter,
who is still involved with his tempestuous ex-wife Maria Elena.
Set against the luscious Mediterranean sensuality of Barcelona,
Vicky Cristina Barcelona is Woody Allen’s funny and
open-minded celebration of love in all its configurations.
"Woody Allens Vicky Cristina Barcelona
has a natural, flowing vitality to it, a sun-drenched splendor
that never falters."-NEW YORKER
"Allen has crafted a wry and thoughtful film about the
peculiar stirrings of the heart that is certainly his most
accomplished piece of work since 2005's Match Point
and arguably his funniest in the eight years since Small
Time Crooks."-VILLAGE VOICE
