Writing with Eden

If you're struggling with writers' block, need accountability, or just want some creative juice, join us! First hour will be generative writing exercises, led by Eden, second hour is dedicated writing time for whatever you want! Use the generative exercises, an existing project, or jump into something new. Fiction, nonfiction, poetry, newbies, oldbies, all are welcome. Bring something to write with and on. Eden Robins is the author of two novels: Remember You Will Die, which was named one of Esquire's 30 Best SF Books of 2024, and When Franny Stands Up, which was named a best book of 2022 by the Chicago Reader and a best queer book of the year by Autostraddle. She was a 2023 Illinois Arts Council Fellow in Literature, and her short fiction and essays have appeared in Slate, USA Today, LA Review of Books, Catapult, and others. $10 for the full 2 hours or come at 7pm and write in companionable silence for free.
