Edna St. Vincent Millay Poetry with Deb Burns

Tickets not needed. Deb Burns show, “What Lips These Lips Have Kissed,” on display for the month of February, is a tribute to the poetry of Edna St. Vincent Millay through the medium of collage. The focus is particularly on love and loss during wartime, reminding us of the preciousness of peace — but the poems also showcase the poet’s love of nature and the imagery, grace, and deep music of her language. On the poet’s birthday, Saturday, February 22, we will celebrate in the Lounge by reading her poems aloud. All are welcome. The bar will be open beginning at 5pm. Deb Burns grew up in Williamstown, traveled the world during her twenties, and returned to town to raise her family. She’s a mother and grandmother, a retired book editor, a writer, painter, singer and musician, and nature lover.
